Inauguration du Point Europe de la Maison des Professions Libérales et de Santé de Nîmes le 15 avril

Les Maisons des Professions Libérales du Languedoc-Roussillon, sites pilotes du Guichet unique européen

Les Professions Libérales, ce sont 45.000 personnes en Languedoc-Roussillon. Un chiffre voué à exploser entre l'avènement du régime d'auto-entrepreneur et la vague des nouvelles professions.  Les Professions Libérales ont structuré des réponses face aux besoins qui ont émergé depuis plus de 30 ans. Parmi ces réponses, l'ORIFF PL est un organisme dédié à l'information et à la formation sur la création d'entreprise des professions libérales. L'ORIFF PL devient le terrain d'expérimentation de la mise en place d'un guichet unique pour les créateurs d'entreprise libérale. Le concept est simple : centraliser toutes les démarches administratives pour lancer son activité que ce soit par internet ou par un guichet physique.

2nd    Russia. The European Space Agency is due to launch two satellites from the Russian Cosmodrome at Plesetsk. SMOS will study earth’s soil, moisture and ocean salinity, and Proba 2 will test new technologies. www.esa.int

3rd    Prague. The Czech Constitutional Court is due to rule on the legality of the EU Lisbon Treaty. If they do not block ratification, the Eurosceptic Czech President Vaclav Klaus has said he will sign. Observers say guarantees agreed by the other 26 heads of government on 29th November, including an opt-out for the Czech Republic on the Charter of Fundamental Rights, make ratification a formality.

Plans for the celebration include an artistic performance symbolising the Fall of the Wall, as well as a concert and a street festival, ending with the toppling of a domino wall along the entire wall path.

7th-18th    Copenhagen. “COP 15” United Nations Climate Change Conference. Held at the Bella Centre, this will be a huge media event, bringing together for the first time all the main world leaders in an attempt to secure a binding global deal to reducing emissions to stop runaway global warming – a deal which must be more ambitious than the Kyoto protocol which many leading nations, including the US and China, refused to sign. Recent scientific reports are gloomy, suggesting that the 2 degrees increase ceiling adopted as a target by the EU is unrealistic, and predicting major climate impacts this century. http://en.cop15.dk   www.unfccc.int

1st    Brussels/Madrid. Spain takes over the EU Council Presidency for 6 months, and is expected to supervise the implementation of the Lisbon Treaty. The presidency website is likely to be www.ue2009.es but will not be active until mid-December.

1st    Kazakhstan. The central Asian state will take over the chairmanship of the OSCE, the world’s largest security and good governance body – the first post-Soviet country to do so.  www.osce.org

Iceland expects to join the EU this year. Croatia hopes to wrap up EU membership talks this  year and join the bloc in 2012, but Brussels has told the former Yugoslav republic it must first step up the fight against widespread corruption and strengthen its judiciary. Romania and Bulgaria want to join the border-free Schengen Area this year. Macedonia and Albania might also be invited to join.
